A genus under the
bromeliaceae family (commonly known as Bromeliads). Same family with the
pineapple.
Billbergia not commonly seen in Malaysia market. The leaves of Billbergia grow
up right and form a 'vase like shape'. The middle of the 'vase' act as a 'tank'
for the plant to collect water for survival.
Billbergia 'Strawberry' grow well under high light intensity. With more light
the leaves can turn to more reddish colour. Very easy to grow, just make sure
the 'tank' got water and water when the planting media is dry. Place in area
with more sun light.
