One of the member under the genus Amorphophallus which famous with producing a huge single leaf and a huge inflorescence. Amorphophallus paeoniifolious will produce a tall and large leaf. After the growing season, the plant will go dormant, leaving the tuber underground for a few months and sprouts again. Sometime before it sprouts, it produce a large inflorescence instate of leaf. The inflorescence (consist of a huge spathe and a spadix) will take a few weeks to develop and only bloom for two days. The true flowers are small, arrange at the spadix.
